Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Clip Stealing ("Clip Stealing", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, integrations, and automation services.

1. Information We Collect

Account and identity data

We collect Discord account data required for authentication and account management, including identifiers, username, display name, avatar, and session information.

Connected platform data

When you connect social platforms (for example TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X), we store account identifiers, granted scopes, token metadata, token expiry details, and integration status.

Content and workflow data

We store data required to ingest, map, queue, and publish media workflows, including source references, captions, destination mappings, scheduling rules, queue states, publish attempts, and error diagnostics.

Technical and security data

We collect operational logs, request metadata, webhook delivery metadata, rate-limit diagnostics, and audit history needed to secure and operate the service.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and secure authentication, account access, and session management.
  • Operate connected platform integrations and authorized posting workflows.
  • Process automation rules, publish queues, retries, and failure handling.
  • Detect abuse, enforce platform policy compliance, and protect service integrity.
  • Maintain audit records and support troubleshooting, diagnostics, and support requests.
  • Meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

We process data based on your actions in the product (for example connecting accounts and running workflows), our legitimate interest in operating a secure service, and compliance obligations. You can revoke platform authorizations in the platform provider settings at any time.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only as needed with:

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, cache, storage, monitoring) that process data for us.
  • Connected platform APIs that you explicitly authorize through OAuth.
  • Service providers and subprocessors required to deliver product functionality.
  • Authorities when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security records, fulfill legal obligations, and resolve disputes. OAuth token data and queue records are retained according to operational need and may be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, restricted access controls, token protection mechanisms, and audit logging. No system can be guaranteed fully secure, but we continuously monitor and improve protections.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Disconnect linked social accounts in provider settings and inside Clip Stealing where available.
  • Request deletion of account data and workflow records.
  • Request access or correction for data associated with your account.

For deletion instructions, see Data Deletion.

8. Children

Clip Stealing is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use connected social platforms and business tools.

9. International Data Processing

Data may be processed in jurisdictions where our providers operate. By using the service, you understand that data may be transferred and processed outside your local jurisdiction.
